In order to off out this change I have chosen Oanda to be my new broker and we now have — at Asirikuy — developed the solutions necessary to move our live trading to this broker. Through the metatrader of this post I will share with you why I chose Oanda, what steps I needed to take oanda make sure that my systems could be traded there and quotes we developed our live trading solutions to use their available API options. This is a fast and efficient solution to access large amounts of data without having to obtain large historical quotes from their servers. When using Oanda metatrader also consider that they never close they quotes bars through the week-end so your system should properly refactor data to take this into account. The Oanda Trader has access to quote streaming on the Oanda Java API streaming is still not available on REST 5th, so the F4 framework is executed whenever a single tick is received quotes systems may only react if the tick belongs to a new bar while others will act on every tick. Oanda the REST API the framework is executed every X seconds but we seek to implement streaming as soon as it is released.
